Features and Benefits of CDECK WUUDE®

The encapsulated composite decking CDECK WUUDE® combines innovative design, advanced technology and exceptional durability — the ideal choice for anyone seeking high-performance outdoor decking.

Key features:

Natural and unique finish, with random colour and texture variations that recreate the authentic appearance of timber. Each board is unique, giving any outdoor space an organic and natural look.

Fully encapsulated, with a single-mass composite core and two outer layers made from specialised polymers that enhance protection, stability and long-term durability.

Micro-textured and slip-resistant surface*, ensuring maximum comfort and safety even in wet areas.

*Slip resistance: OK — Class 3 (EN 15534)

Splinter-free and with no visible screws, ideal for walking barefoot by the pool, in the garden or on the terrace.

Low maintenance, thanks to the virtually impermeable surface layer that prevents the absorption of liquids and other substances — water and a neutral detergent are enough to maintain the original appearance.

Fast and simple installation, using the patented Quick-Fix® system, which allows individual boards to be lifted for cleaning or maintenance.

Exceptional resistance and durability, engineered to withstand the most demanding weather conditions. Manufactured with high-performance materials.

A more sustainable solution, thanks to its long service life, reduced maintenance needs and responsible packaging management (Sociedade Ponto Verde).

Backed by up to 25 years of warranty, with a significantly longer expected service life.

Versatile and adaptable, suitable for both professional projects and DIY installations — a complete solution for any type of outdoor space.

Installation with the Quick-Fix® system

CDECK WUUDE® uses the Quick-Fix® fixing system, exclusively developed and patented by IHT. This system allows installation to be up to 3 times faster (with only one screw per board) and makes it possible to remove individual boards for cleaning or maintenance.

How to install CDECK® composite deckingCDECK® installation accessories

*Result observed in an internal installation test (1 installer), on a test module of around 3 m², on a drillable concrete base, comparing the Quick-Fix® installation system (1 screw per board) with a traditional clip fixing system. The time may vary depending on the substrate, cut-outs and site conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions about CDECK WUUDE®

Find answers to the most common questions about CDECK WUUDE® encapsulated composite decking.

Not in any significant way. CDECK WUUDE features a surface layer that is highly resistant to UV radiation, providing excellent colour stability and very limited colour variation over time (DoP).

Yes. In addition to being free from knots and splinters, CDECK WUUDE provides an extremely slip-resistant surface even when wet (Class 3).

Yes — like any other material, CDECK WUUDE heats up when exposed to direct sunlight.
Darker colours heat up more than lighter ones.
Compared with natural timber — and when comparing similar tones — CDECK WUUDE heats up slightly more, but the difference is not significant.

CDECK WUUDE has an estimated service life of over 30 years, under recommended use and maintenance conditions, with a warranty of up to 25 years (please refer to the applicable warranty terms and conditions).

Advantages of CDECK WUUDE compared with other encapsulated composite decking:

    • Boards with a unique design, featuring random colour variations that give an organic, natural and timber-like finish.
    • Thanks to their shape and micro-textured finish, the boards adapt to the natural anatomy of the feet, creating a uniquely pleasant and comfortable feel.
    • It features a virtually impermeable surface layer that prevents the absorption of liquids and other substances, making cleaning and maintaining the decking a quick and simple task.
    • Even though the exposed surface is 100% polymer, it offers excellent slip resistance (OK — Class 3 (EN 15534)), ensuring maximum safety even when wet.
    • It offers high mechanical performance, due to the formulation and production method. In the Declaration of Performance (DoP), CDECK WUUDE complies with EN 15534, including impact tests, bending/deflection tests, moisture resistance tests and the boiling test (see the DoP).
    • Boards can be custom-made (between 1.8 m and 3 m) to better suit each project.
    • Higher dimensional stability and better abrasion resistance.
    • Available in five colours.
    • Wide range of profiles and accessories, offering solutions for almost any installation scenario.
    • Patented fixing system that saves installation time, using only one screw per board and allowing individual boards to be lifted thanks to the intermediate PRO clip.
    • Uses PVC or aluminium joists, ensuring excellent stability and durability.

    Disadvantages:

    • Usually requires a higher initial investment.

No. As WPC products containing wood, permanent submersion may cause irreversible changes due to excessive water absorption.

    Yes, provided that:

    • the structure is braced, as described in the technical data sheet;
    • the soil is compacted in the support areas;
    • the lower ventilation cavity remains unobstructed, ideally using a geotextile membrane.

Yes. The CDECK fixing system is unique and patented:

    • Very easy to install and uninstall thanks to its click-in design.
    • Uses only one screw per board.
    • Includes several types of clips, including one that allows individual board opening (to access drainage, inspection chambers or for deep cleaning).
    • Allows the decking to float, improving adaptability to dimensional changes and increasing long-term stability.

Maintenance simply consists of washing the decking periodically to maintain its appearance and prevent the permanent accumulation of debris.

It should be cleaned using a pressure washer (max. 150 bar, 30 cm distance),
always washing along the length of the boards.
