RESTAURANT DECKING

Why invest in quality decking for your outdoor dining area

The outdoor seating area is the shop window of any café, restaurant or bar. A well-presented terrace attracts customers, increases outdoor capacity and can make a real difference to turnover.

But a commercial space has very different demands to a residential terrace: heavy foot traffic, chairs dragged across the surface, frequent spills of coffee, wine or oil, constant exposure to sun and rain, and the need to maintain a polished image without shutting down for maintenance. Restaurant decking in CDECK composite is built to meet these demands.

WHY CDECK FOR YOUR COMMERCIAL TERRACE

CDECK® composite decking: why for your business?

Manufactured in the European Union by IHT, with up to 10-year warranty for commercial use and an estimated service life exceeding 30 years. Designed to meet the specific demands of commercial spaces with high foot traffic.

Built for heavy foot traffic

A café or restaurant terrace handles dozens to hundreds of uses every day — chairs dragged, tables repositioned, constant movement of customers and staff. CDECK offers high resistance to abrasion and impact, maintaining its appearance even under intensive use.

Easy to clean — even with frequent spills

Coffee, wine, beer, oil, sauces — on a commercial terrace, spills are part of daily life. The CDECK surface cleans easily with water and a neutral detergent. The CDECK WUUDE range, with its capped board, does not absorb liquids — particularly suited to terraces where spills are frequent.

Quick installation — without closing your business

The Quick-Fix® installation system uses just one screw per board, making fitting significantly faster than traditional methods. For a commercial terrace, this means fewer days of work and less time with the business disrupted or closed.

Removable and reusable

Many restaurant terraces occupy public pavement and are subject to local council permits. With a self-supporting structure, the decking is not fixed to the ground — it can be assembled and dismantled without drilling into the pavement.

Slip-resistant — safety for customers and staff

CDECK holds a Class 31 slip-resistance rating (EN 15534) — the highest level. On a terrace where customers, staff carrying trays and children are moving about, a safe surface is essential. The deck retains its grip even when wet from rain or spills.

Low maintenance — no disruption to your business

Unlike natural wood, CDECK restaurant decking requires no sanding, painting, varnishing or oiling. It does not rot, splinter or develop sharp edges. Maintenance amounts to periodic washing with water and a neutral detergent — with no need to close the terrace for upkeep.
