At this private home in Assumadas de Algoz, in the Algarve, the poolside area was renovated with CDECK® composite decking, replacing an old timber deck that had become heavily worn.
This private home in Assumadas de Algoz, in the Algarve, has an outdoor relaxation area centred around the swimming pool. The area was previously finished with timber decking, which had gradually begun to show its limitations:
Over time, the decking lost its stability, with warping, cracking and general wear affecting the overall appearance of the outdoor space.
The old deck required constant upkeep to maintain its appearance, and its deterioration eventually began to detract from the outdoor area as a whole.
The area was renovated with CDECK® composite decking, chosen for its low maintenance, slip-resistant surface suitable for poolside use and wood-effect finish.
A total of 54 m² of CDECK® composite decking was installed around the swimming pool, creating a more comfortable, consistent outdoor space suited to the intense heat of the Algarve.
