The project

This private home in Trémolat, in the Dordogne, has a large outdoor area centred around the swimming pool. The space had plenty of potential, but the existing surface needed to be renewed to restore both comfort and a more cohesive overall appearance.

The challenge

The poolside area was finished with timber decking that had gradually lost its performance over the years.

Visible wear

Years of exposure to sun and moisture had caused the timber to warp and crack, while its aged appearance detracted from the overall outdoor space.

Demanding maintenance

Natural timber requires regular care, which can become difficult to maintain over time. As the surface deteriorated, it needed increasingly frequent attention simply to remain usable.

The solution

The timber decking was completely replaced with CDECK® composite decking. Easy to maintain, resistant to outdoor conditions and with a refined finish, it provides a solution well suited to the intensive use of a poolside area.

The result

A completely transformed outdoor space. The new CDECK® decking gives the area a clean, contemporary look, with a comfortable, safe surface designed to last.

« Top-quality material, and a sales rep (Alexandra, to name her) who was always available, helpful and gave excellent advice, and who speaks perfect French. I can only recommend this brand to anyone who wants a beautiful terrace. »
