The Project / Challenge
Private home in Assumadas de Algoz, in the Algarve, with an outdoor leisure area organised around the swimming pool. The area was previously finished with timber decking, a solution that had begun to show significant limitations:

Timber deterioration
Over time, the decking lost structural stability, developing warping, cracks and general wear that affected the uniformity of the outdoor space.

Maintenance and performance
The existing solution required constant maintenance to preserve its appearance, but its deteriorated condition had ultimately diminished the outdoor space.
The Solution
CDECK® composite decking was the chosen solution, allowing the space to be renovated with a low-maintenance surface — anti-slip and suited to pool areas, with a finish that replicates the look of natural timber.
