For a domestic terrace, the hollow board is more than enough. Solid makes sense when the site asks for more: a busy commercial space, a very damp area or harsh winters.

Slightly, and predictably. It is a composite with visible wood fibre: over the first few months the shade lightens until it settles into a more natural colour, and from then on it stays put. Colour and texture remain much as they are.
Like any outdoor flooring, yes: dark colours more than light ones. The hollow board heats up slightly less than the solid one, thanks to the internal ventilation. If the space is very exposed, go for a light colour such as Beech Beige.
An estimated service life of over 30 years under normal conditions of use and maintenance, with a warranty of up to 25 years.
The hollow board works for the vast majority of projects, and it heats up slightly less as well. The solid board is tougher and makes sense in busy areas or difficult conditions: frost, high moisture. They share the same colours, dimensions and installation, so you can mix them without any trouble.
Yes to both. The surface has a Class 3 slip rating, the highest, measured wet and certified in the European Technical Assessment. It copes with chlorine and salt water, so it works perfectly around a pool. Just avoid prolonged contact with concentrated products and permanent immersion. And as it doesn't splinter, you can walk on it barefoot without any problem.
Each hollow board weighs 5.58 kg and each solid board 9.58 kg. With three boards per m², that comes to around 17 kg/m² for hollow and 29 for solid. On top of that come the joists and the fixings, which depend on the project, but it gives you an idea: it's a low weight for outdoor flooring and on a normal balcony or roof terrace there isn't usually a problem. Water and a mild detergent, and that's it. No sanding, no painting, no varnishing. If you use a pressure washer: 150 bar maximum, around 30 cm away and always along the length of the board. Here you have cleaning and maintenance in full detail.
It isn't just a board: it's a complete system, and that shows in the result.

The trade-off, plainly stated: it costs more up front than other composites. You get it back as soon as you start doing nothing to maintain it.
