Capped hollow composite board
The look of wood, taken further: a micro-textured surface that differs from board to board. A protective cap wraps all four sides and shields it from stains and UV rays.
| Criterion | CDECK Original® | CDECK WUUDE® |
|---|---|---|
| Board type | Hollow or solid | Capped hollow |
| Protective cap | No, with visible wood fibres | Yes, capped on all four sides |
| Finish | Classic grooved finish | Natural wood look, with a finish that differs from board to board |
| Colour stability | The shade evolves: it lightens over the first few months and then settles | Stable colour, with high UV resistance and minimal variation in shade, all but invisible to the naked eye |
| Ease of cleaning | Easy to clean | Even easier to clean |
| Resistance to scratches and furniture marks | High: minor marks from everyday use fade naturally over time | Standard: deep scratches that reach the core are difficult to repair |
| Stain resistance | Good. As the surface is porous, it can absorb fats and oils, so spills are best cleaned up promptly. | Very high. The protective cap stops fats and liquids from soaking into the board, so stains stay on the surface and are easier to remove. |

Composite decking, also known as WPC decking, is an outdoor flooring product made from wood fibres and polymers. It has the look of a timber deck, with greater resistance to moisture and simpler upkeep than natural wood.
Yes. Composite decking, WPC decking and wood-plastic composite decking are all commonly used to describe the same type of outdoor flooring made from composite materials.
CDECK® composite decking has an estimated service life of over 30 years and a warranty of up to 25 years, subject to conditions, provided it is laid and maintained in line with the technical data sheet. It won't rot and it stands up to UV radiation, moisture, insects and termites, with no treatments required.
The price depends on the board range, the type of installation, the area to be covered, how complex the project is and any accessories needed. To find out the final price per m², including materials and accessories, ask us for a quote telling us the area and what you'll be laying it on, or price up your project in the configurator.
Yes, and it's one of its best applications. CDECK® won't rot, it copes with chlorine and salt water, and its surface is splinter-free with no screws on show, so it's fine to walk on barefoot. Its Class 3 slip resistance (EN 15534) keeps it safe even when wet. There's more detail on our pool decking page.
CDECK® is laid using the patented Quick-Fix® system: concealed fixings and a single screw per board, which makes fitting up to three times faster than traditional methods. Simple to lay, whether you do it yourself or leave it to your usual installer. The whole process is set out step by step in our installation guide.
Water, a mild detergent and a soft brush, on a regular basis. For a deeper clean, you can use a pressure washer: hold it around 30 cm away, at 150 bar maximum, with a fan jet, always working along the length of the boards. No varnishes, no oils, no annual treatment. See the cleaning and maintenance guide.
Tell us where you want to lay the deck and the approximate area. We'll point you towards the best option and the next steps.
