Public space at the heart of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, where CDECK® composite decking reshaped the walkways between the Crowne Plaza and Radisson Blu hotels.
This project aimed to revitalise Yas Plaza, an outdoor public space located between the Crowne Plaza and Radisson Blu hotels, transforming it into a functional, harmonious and welcoming area for both visitors and hotel guests. The vision was to bring together circulation, relaxation and views of the surrounding landscape in a space that blends seamlessly into its setting on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
To make the space safer, more comfortable and more durable, CDECK® composite decking was selected for its strength, durability and excellent grip, providing reliable performance under heavy foot traffic and the region's demanding climatic conditions. Beyond its practical benefits, CDECK® helped create smooth pathways connecting the different areas, integrating naturally into the landscape and enhancing the experience of everyone moving through the space.
The revitalisation transformed Yas Plaza into a modern and welcoming space where movement, relaxation and appreciation of the surroundings come together naturally.
